This policy forum is organised by the Haringey Labour Local Campaign Forum and aims to examine issues around housing policy in London from a Haringey and outside perspective, conditions in the private rented sector, affordability, and the growing problem of homelessness and refugees.
The format will be panel presentations in the morning and Q&As, followed by group sessions on specific subjects. It does not deal specifically with the HDV although that will be in the minds of many Haringey members so there will also be a separate Q&A session on the HDV with Cllr Strickland in the afternoon.
Speakers: Cllr Alan Strickland (Haringey), Cllr Steve Bullock (Lewisham), Seb Krier ("Generation Rent"), Sarah Obanja (invited - Newlon Houisng Trust) + other contributors in group sessions
The cost is a voluntary recommended contribution of £5 to cover costs. A light lunch will be available for £3.
This event is for members of the Labour party in Haringey only
